Guarantee & Warranty
Our goal is to make online car buying as safe as possible. Every VeriRides purchase includes a test-drive guarantee and clear inspection-based protection.
Your Protection as a VeriRides Buyer
When you buy a car 100% online, trust and clarity are everything. That’s why every purchase through VeriRides comes with a test-drive guarantee and clear rules about what happens if the car you receive is not as described or significantly different from the inspection report.
If serious, undisclosed issues appear during your test-drive period, we work with you on a fair solution – from repair support or price adjustment to, in some cases, returning the vehicle according to our policy.
For example, you might offer:
– 7-day / 300-mile test-drive guarantee
– Customer must report issues within this period
You can adjust these values to match your real policy and legal requirements in the USA.
Test-Drive Guarantee
You get a limited time and mileage after delivery to test the car in real-world conditions.
Inspection-Based Protection
If the car is significantly different from the inspection report, we help you resolve it.
Clear, Written Terms
What is and isn’t covered is written in plain language, so there are no surprises later.
Human Support
Our team will review your case, examine the evidence and work on a fair resolution with you.
What Happens If There’s a Problem?
If you discover a serious issue during your test-drive period, here is how we handle it together.
1. You Report the Issue
Contact us within your X-day / Y-mile test-drive period. Describe the issue and provide photos, videos or workshop diagnostics if possible.
2. We Review the Case
Our team compares your report with the inspection results and the vehicle description to confirm if the problem was likely pre-existing and not disclosed.
3. We Propose Solutions
Depending on the situation, solutions may include repair support, partial refund / price adjustment, or – in more serious cases – returning the vehicle according to our policy.
4. We Finalize the Resolution
Once we agree on the best solution, we coordinate the next steps with you and the seller, keeping you informed until the case is fully resolved.
Your Responsibilities as a Buyer
To keep the guarantee fair, we ask you to:
- Inspect and test-drive the car within the defined period after delivery.
- Report any serious issues as soon as possible, with evidence.
- Avoid misuse or driving the car in a way that could create new damage.
- Follow any instructions we provide for diagnosis or repair estimates.
What the Test-Drive Guarantee Covers
- Major mechanical or structural issues that existed before delivery.
- Problems that clearly contradict the inspection report or vehicle description.
- Hidden damage that a reasonable pre-purchase inspection should have revealed.
- Situations where the car cannot be safely driven as intended without repair.
What Is Not Covered
- New damage that occurs after delivery (accidents, misuse, neglect).
- Cosmetic defects already shown in photos or mentioned in the report.
- Normal wear and tear appropriate for the vehicle’s age and mileage.
- Minor noises or imperfections that do not affect safety or basic function.
Optional Extended Warranty
Some vehicles may qualify for third-party extended warranty plans that go beyond our standard test-drive guarantee. These can cover certain mechanical components for a longer time and mileage.
Coverage options, prices and terms vary depending on the age, mileage and condition of the vehicle. Our team can help you check if the car you’re interested in is eligible and what plans are available.
Ask About Extended WarrantyGuarantee & Warranty – Quick FAQ
Is this a return policy or a repair policy?
In most cases, we first try to solve problems through repair support or a fair price adjustment. A full return is usually reserved for serious cases, according to our written policy.
Do I need to use specific workshops?
For diagnosis and repairs under our guarantee, we may ask you to visit approved or pre-agreed workshops so we can control quality and costs.
Is this the same as a manufacturer warranty?
No. Our guarantee is focused on the condition at the time of sale and early use. Manufacturer or third-party warranties are separate products with their own terms.
